Are you ready to lead the packhouse team behind one of New Zealand's favourite fruits? Our client is on the lookout for a Packhouse Manager to oversee the full kiwifruit packing process, from pre-season prep to post-harvest wrap-up.What you'll be doing:Organising the packhouse pre-season to ensure everything's in tip-top shape - cleaning, calibrating, and making sure the team is ready to go.Leading daily harvest meetings and coordinating with the coolstore team to keep operations on track.Managing the packing line efficiently, ensuring quality targets and output are met.Supporting and motivating your team to perform at their best while maintaining Health & Safety standards.Continuously seeking improvements in processes, equipment, and team dynamics to boost productivity and fruit quality.What you bring:Proven experience in packhouse management, ideally in the horticulture industry.Leadership skills to inspire your team and keep them focused, even during the busiest times.A focus on detail, ensuring smooth operations and excellent outcomes.The ability to stay calm and organised, even when peak season pressure is on.If you're ready for a role in a fast-paced environment with a great team, we'd love to hear from you!To be consistent for this role you must be eligible to work in NZ, have NZ residency, or hold a valid NZ work permit.
