First Security – Wellington Central, North Island
FIRST Security is currently seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor for our Kapiti Region, based in in Kapiti Coast.
FIRST Security Guard Services is a proud member of the Wilson Security Group. Wilson Security is one of Australasia's largest and most experienced Security organisations specialising in all aspects of Security Services.
We are looking for a proven leader with experience managing a diverse workforce spread across multiple sites throughout Kapiti. You will work closely with the team to ensure our guard force is living our values and maintaining the highest standards in what is a very unique operating environment.
This role includes (but is not limited to):
-Perform operational duties across the week as required including Electronic Monitoring of Non-Custodial Services within the community
-Providing leadership to your team
-Acting as first point of support, escalation & response
-Being out and about in the field e.g. performing patrol and guarding work
-Developing the team and our guards more broadly
-Liaising with our clients and partner agencies
-Compiling quality assurance, incident and other reports
-Performing ad-hoc activities or functions as set by the Management team
-Safely and courteously operating a fully marked company vehicle
What is in it for you:
-Great starting rate of $28.00
-Full time hours - minimum of 36 hours per week
-Weekly pay
-Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday will be your working days

- preferred 3 years or more experience in a leadership position
-Valid right to work in NZ
-Have highly developed communication skills
-Lead by example
-Be computer literate and familiar with MS Office, Excel and Outlook
-Have a current COA or the ability to gain one
-Must have a full Drivers Licence
-Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice Criminal Convictions check
