This includes Property Reserves, Aquatic Services, TSB Hub, Horticulture Services, Corporate Property, Housing for the Elderly, Halls, Events, Campgrounds, Cemeteries, Public Spaces and Public Toilets.Do you have what it takes? - This is a busy role and if you want plenty of variety, this role has it from undertaking the strategic oversight of the Council's property and facilities portfolio, leading & managing the property & facilities team to ensure the provision of high-quality professional service delivery and developing and implementing strategies, systems, policies, plans, procedures and programs to ensure legal compliance and best practice in the areas of recreation and facilities management. It will also write, review, negotiate, monitor and deliver on maintenance contracts for community facilities and incorporate changes to levels of service as necessary, ensure the effective management of Freedom Camping across the district and prepare reports, submissions, project briefs, quotations and tenders related to property & facilities activities.About You - You are a talented team player with a university degree in a business-related field and 5 years' management experience. You are looking for career transforming opportunities, have a "can-do" attitude, proven leadership skills and demonstrated experience in the development of projects, policies and procedures.
