About the Role
Reporting to the North Island Regional Herd Test Manager, you will be responsible for providing quality leadership and effectively managing your team and resources to deliver exceptional service to our farming customers.
This role is based out of LIC's Hawera depot, but will require you to regularly travel throughout the Taranaki regions. Involving both hands-on in the field and administration tasks, if you like variety in your day this may be the role for you!
The Herd Test team are a part of the Operations & Service Group which is responsible for the strategy of keeping our people safe and for delivering on the promise we make to our customers. Operations & Service is made up of LIC's core production laboratories, farming operations and the field teams (AB and Herd Testing) who deliver LIC's product on farm.
About You
We are seeking an effective leader who is passionate about creating a great team culture while delivering outstanding results. You will be able to demonstrate:
Experience in staff management, recruitment & training
A strong understanding of health, safety & wellbeing requirements
A customer focused attitude
Logistics experience, with strong organisational and time management skills
Quality systems focus or knowledge of Quality ISO Standards
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Financial acumen
Confidence with technology
Knowledge of the Dairy Industry / farming (preferred)
