Operations Manager (Chief Pilot)

Our client is a renowned Part 119/125 RPT/Charter operator based out of Auckland, New Zealand.
They are currently looking for an Operations Manager (Chief Pilot) who will take on the responsibility of line flying, management, and administration of the organisation's aircraft and employees.
This is a full-time position on a 5-day work week that requires relocation to be on-site.
Job Responsibilities

Carry out safe line flying, management of employees and aircraft, as well as all other administrative requirements necessary for continued compliant operations.
Experience mentoring and leading a growing team of pilots and operations staff with a strong focus on creating a supportive environment.
Experience managing aircraft maintenance scheduling and maintenance across our fleet of Cessna Grand Caravans in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager.
A strong focus on building team culture.
A positive and calm approach to problem solving.

Job Requirements

Possess a valid NZCAA CPL - IFR experience is an added advantage.
Total Time - 1200 hours, Cross Country - 500 hours.
At least 3 years of management experience in a similar capacity or as a Senior Pilot.
Strong understanding of single engine turboprop operations (or similar) and how the operations work in the region.
Caravan type rating would be ideal but is not necessary. Experience on other types of similar aircraft will also be considered.
