Job Summary: The Operational Excellence Manager will analyze current processes by generating Process Flow Diagrams and Value Stream Maps in order to benchmark and/or quantify current performance, identify and quantify improvement scope, and to establish metrics for quantifying the improvement activities.
Identify and minimize process gaps by leading and organizing events that utilize Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Mistake Proofing, Statistical Process Controls, and Visual Management Systems.
Achieve significant improvements in Operational Efficiency by implementing Standardized Work practices.
Responsibilities: Identifying opportunities for process improvement, waste removal, and cost reduction.
Planning, facilitating, and executing continuous improvement events using Lean Six Sigma tools.
Utilizing Continuous Improvement through employee engagement in ideas and implementation.
Teaching, leading, and coaching cross-functional teams on Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology.
Working to continuously improve processes both on the production floor as well as transactional by collaborating with multiple functions such as stores and logistics.
Required Skills & Abilities: 5S.
Lean Manufacturing.
Lean Six Sigma.
Value Stream Mapping.
Qualification & Experience: Prefer Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certified.
At least 10 to 12 years of experience in the industry.
