Operational Compliance Manager at New Zealand Post, AucklandOperational Compliance Manager A people leadership roleBased in Wiri, providing support across Airport site as wellStrong background in compliance, internal audit or processBased at our new Auckland Processing Centre in Wiri, this role also provides support to the International Mail Centre (based at the Airport) you'll ensure that these site are compliant with a range of process and legislative requirements at all times.
Specifically, the role will drive compliance with all border protection and aviation security requirements, with a key focuses on operational process compliance, including quality control and training management.
You'll work collaboratively within the APC and IMC leadership and operational teams, as well as with external agencies, ensuring the correct frameworks are in place to drive success in this space.
You'll be focused on
Driving operational compliance with legislative requirements, specifically: border security (Ministry for Primary Industries transitional facility; New Zealand Customs Controlled Area) and aviation security (Civil Aviation Authority Registered Air Cargo Agent; Aviation Security Service)Driving operational compliance with process requirements, specifically: definition of processes; employee training management; Universal Postal Union and bilateral agreements; APC/IMC and NZ Post policies and quality control processes.Onboarding new customers and introducing any changes required for existing customers to ensure best possible customer experience while managing operational impactContributing to leading the APC / IMC operationsYou'll be an experienced people leader with experience working in an operational environment, you'll enjoy supporting your team to thrive.
