The opportunity:
The Senior Offensive Security Consultant is responsible for leading the delivery of a range of technical security services to clients within the KPMG Cyber practice. This includes penetration testing, red team testing, threat hunting, security incident response and more.
Day to day you will:
Plan, manage and deliver a range of technical security engagements to a variety of public and private sector clients.
Provide advice to clients that is technically sound and aligned with clients' needs.
Demonstrate excellent project management skills, promote teamwork and individual accountability.
Work closely with client to help them prepare for and respond to security incidents.
Coach, develop and support other team members.
Produce clear and well-presented reports and other deliverables.
What you'll bring to the team:
4+ years penetration testing experience, including web app testing skills.
A broad range of other technical security skills, covering such areas as security incident response, code review, red/blue team testing and vulnerability assessments.
Relevant professional qualifications e.g., OSCP, OSCE, CREST Registered Penetration Tester preferred.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A confident, proactive and 'can do' approach.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think innovatively.
