About the role
Reporting to the NZ Head of Digital, the Digital Writer's role is to source, produce, write, build and publish on-brand content that grows audience, traffic, volume and brand footprint for the digital platforms. From the latest celeb news, curating the best shopping content, SEO optimising content across our websites and promoting our content across social and eDM, this is a busy and varied role in our small and mighty digital team.
Duties
Content production and optimisation while keeping content tone, style, cadence, delivery and ensuring it is on-brand.
Ensure content is highly engaging, regularly updated and adheres to the overarching digital content strategy and hygiene (best-practice SEO, affiliate inclusions, social amplification etc).
Manage execution and implementation of the social and SEO strategy, as well as using your own judgement and knowledge of the platforms to make strategic decisions which result in moving the needle on key metrics.
Skills and experience
At least 2 years digital media experience across web/content management and social. Any eDM platform experience is ideal but not mandatory.
Ability to use the tools required to use data to create informed insights about audience and content such as Google Analytics and social media insights tools.
Background in creating and curating content, tailored for both brand and audience at scale required for digital publishing.
