We are seeking a Network Reliability Engineer, starting in January 2025. This position is suitable for a junior engineer (up to 5 years' experience), electrical graduate, or someone with an electrical trade qualification looking for an engineering development opportunity.The core focus of the Network Reliability Team is to promote continuous improvement of asset reliability and performance throughout our network and organization. This involves understanding network performance, resolving voltage complaints, and working closely with customers and the team to identify and implement optimal solutions.This role offers a fantastic development opportunity for an engineer looking to rapidly gain experience in the distribution network, with the potential for future prospects throughout the company.To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:A keen interest in electricity/energy distribution networks.Relevant qualifications in electricity supply or electrical engineering.Strong communication skills and the ability to influence others.A results-oriented approach and personal accountability for meeting deliverables.Numerate and analytical mindset, capable of making sound decisions based on facts.Good computer skills, particularly with spreadsheets and data analysis.A strong drive for continuous improvement.Ability to work in a rapidly changing industry.Some relevant experience in the electricity distribution industry is preferable.The perks:Health, life, and income protection insurance.Training and development opportunities.Competitive remuneration.A fast-paced environment encouraging fresh ideas.After 12 months, we'll add:Increased company KiwiSaver contribution to 4%.A paid Me Day.An extra 5 days of sick leave.How to apply:If you're based in Aotearoa New Zealand with relevant work rights and will undergo our pre-employment medical check and drug test, send your application including CV and cover letter by Wednesday, 20th November 2024.Note: You may not receive notification of the outcome of your application until the vacancy has closed and we have completed the shortlisting process.
