National Business Development ManagerQuantaco is a leading Australian data-driven technology company delivering hospitality specific insights to improve the performance of hospitality venues.
A new addition to the Quantaco group is CTB AND CO, a cloud-based kitchen management software solution that simplifies processes, lowers costs, and improves financial transparency.
The acquisition has enabled us to form one of Australia's largest technology providers dedicated to empowering the potential of hospitality businesses.Our vision is to create a completely streamlined management system for the hospitality industry.
With 200 employees and a team across Australia, New Zealand and Asia, we provide an all-encompassing financial reporting platform that enables the completion of end-to-end account processing, reconciliation, management reporting, inventory management, data analytics, and a suite of web-based programs that deliver critical operational and management information to businesses in the hospitality industry.About the role:As the National Business Development Manager for New Zealand, you will be responsible for acquiring new business and driving revenue growth.
In this role you will operate as an independent contractor/sole trader.
You will engage with potential clients across the hospitality industry including pubs, clubs, and restaurants, showcasing the value of our solutions and closing deals.
This requires a self-starter who can work independently while collaborating with colleagues across different locations.
This is an opportunity to build on our proven success and drive sales with scope to build a team in the future.Responsibilities:Prospecting and Relationship Development: Leverage your proactive and determined approach to identify and engage with potential clients.
Secure meetings and present our value proposition effectively, leveraging your strong customer-facing and presentation skills.Sales Strategy: Develop and maintain strategic sales plans designed to exceed targets.
Manage inbound and drive outbound sales for all CTB AND CO products and services.Client Engagement: Conduct technology demonstrations and discovery sessions to thoroughly understand client needs.
Use your ability to manage and forecast sales opportunities to guide clients through the sales process from initiation to close.CRM Management: Maintain accurate and detailed records of the sales cycle in our CRM system.Industry Events: Attend expos and industry events to meet prospects and secure deals.Travel: Meet clients, attend industry events, and participate in team meetings.Remote Work: With offices based in Sydney and Melbourne, this role is primarily remote.

Your ability to adapt and thrive in different environments will be key to your success.Experience: New business development experience, with a focus on selling sophisticated and/or technology solutions.Proven Track Record: Of successful quota achievement preferably as a SaaS sales executive/BDM selling into the hospitality industry (ideally).Sales Skills: Curious and tenacious in identifying new opportunities, with a true hunter mentality.
Strong understanding of managing B2B sales cycles from initiation to close.Customer-Facing Skills: Strong presentation skills with the ability to establish credibility.Negotiation Skills: Experience negotiating and navigating high-value commercial deals.Relationship Building: Ability to build strong personal relationships.Technical Proficiency: High degree of proficiency with technology, with a proven track record of being able to demonstrate a range of technology solutions in a sales context.Communication Skills: Superior verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently while keeping stakeholders informed.Why join us?At Quantaco CTB we value your wellbeing.
