About the Role As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding market reach in Auckland and the wider North Island region..

Key Responsibilities Proactively seek out new business opportunities and engage prospective customers.
Cold-call and meet with potential clients to showcase products and services.
Perform practical machinery demonstrations to retailers and industry stakeholders.
Develop tailored proposals and close sales deals to meet business growth targets.
Utilize ERP systems and Excel for data management, sales tracking, and reporting.
Traveling throughout the wider Auckland region & Northern NZ to build a strong network and expand market reach.
Requirements Candidate Requirements Proven experience in business development, ideally in tools, or construction-related industries.
Strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to conduct hands-on product demonstrations.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel for managing data and creating reports.
A self-starter with a results-driven mindset and exceptional organisational skills.
A lifestyle conducive to frequent travel and the demands of an on-the-road role.
