You must have great work ethics and a positive attitude.This is a superb role for the career-minded individual who enjoys interacting with people, has excellent verbal and written English communication skills, and is legally able to work in NZ.ResponsibilitiesWorking primarily on the MAUI mobile application, you will work as part of an Agile team and be responsible for the development of new features, as well as maintaining and improving the code base.Identifying design problems and devising elegant solutions.Making strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core and new functions and features.Writing clean, well-documented, and well-tested code in collaboration with the rest of the team.To be successful in your role you will have:Relevant commercial experience in Xamarin or MAUI, C#, Android, and iOS.Minimum 3 years of experience with mobile development.Solid technology skills in mobile development, web API, notifications, Azure, AWS.Strong high-level analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to investigate complex issues and make informed decisions even when guidelines are not available.Strong customer focus with a proven ability to ensure exceptional user experience.Ability to build and maintain relationships with key users and customers to provide user-focused insights throughout the design process.Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Effective communication skills.You must be locally based with all valid work rights in New Zealand.Knowledge or exposure to the following areas:Instrumenting monitoring and logging of applications.Xamarin and .NET MAUI.Building and using RESTful APIs.Other skills and personal qualities we are looking for include:University degree in Computer Science (preferred).Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Ability to present ideas in a user-friendly language.Ability to identify the business value in a technology solution.Self-motivated, with strong attention to detail.Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.Focus on quality delivery.Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.Remuneration will be based on qualifications and experience.If you have a passion for delivering high-quality code and love working with clients in a proactive manner to solve their business issues, then please apply.Please note that to be considered as an applicant you need to be living in New Zealand and have a relevant work visa.
