Joining a dedicated maintenance planning and scheduling team, this role establishes the maintenance plans in large complex environments across multiple sites and monitors maintenance execution against plans. Provides asset scheduling inputs to optimise cost and efficiency of maintenance delivery. It is related to maximising the value of assets by ensuring optimal operational performance through maintenance management excellence. This role has the flexibility to be based at any one of our Hydro Stations between Taupo and Hamilton. Mercury operates in a hybrid flexible working environment where you can combine working from home with working from our sites and offices to collaborate with stakeholders (approximately two days working from home). Key responsibilities: Provide maintenance planning activities that supports the delivery of maintenance on site Determine the scope of work required, setting the priority, estimates the labour requirements and equipment downtime Responsible for identifying the materials, tooling, equipment and skills needed, developing the work instructions, including management of HSE risks, and consolidating the tasks into logically sequenced packages of work Ensure repetitive tasks are planned once and then stored in the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS - Maximo) for future use We are looking for: Maintenance trade qualification or equivalent maintenance engineering experience with greater than 10 years' experience Demonstrated knowledge of planning and scheduling in CMMS - Maximo Practical knowledge of Geothermal and or Hydro power station assets (Desirable but not necessary) Deep knowledge of asset management fundamentals - specifically maintenance planning and scheduling.
