Merchandise Planner

Behind the scenes, we have many dedicated individuals who bring together best practice processes and systems to ensure our ongoing commitment to the New Zealand market.About the role:As a Merchandise Planner you will work cross-functionally to ensure all stores have optimal stock levels and the appropriate product combination to achieve the sales, gross profit and stock targets in line with our strategy.Your key duties will include:Analysing and forecasting buying requirements up to 12 months in advanceProviding the Buyer with financial planning and stock management adviceMonitoring and analysing sales and profit objectivesFinancial and sales reportingDetermining retail and promotional pricesDeveloping merchandise plans and budgetsTo be considered for this position you will ideally have:2-3 years of planning experience coupled with relevant qualificationA flair for figures and a strong eye for detailStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate and influence the broader teamStrong problem solving and time management skillsPrevious experience with SAP and Arthur Planning desirableHigh level Microsoft Excel skills an advantageIf you are a passionate person with a strong customer focus who realises the tremendous opportunity that this role offers, we want to hear from you!
