Freedom Medical Alarms is a joint venture business between Healthcare NZ and Wellington Free Ambulance. All Freedom clients have their alarms monitored through the Central Ambulance Communications centre run by Wellington Free Ambulance.

About the role | He korero whakamarama mo tenei turanga
The Medical Alarm Consultant reports to the Freedom Alarms Manager and is responsible for providing the highest possible standard of medical alarm service, educating prospective clients about the service and completion of installed alarms, and providing excellent client support, accurately completing documentation, and complying with the Code of Conduct and TSANZ service standards.
This is a casual position; however, we are open to contractors. Our standard hours of operation are 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday based Otepoti Dunedin.
Responsibilities may include but will not be limited to:

Complete any alarm swap out within required timeframes.
Ensure verbal and written communications are appropriate for the intended audiences.
Explain the functionality of the newly installed medical alarm to the client and carry out appropriate testing.
When booking appointments to visit clients, offer them the choice of having a support person or next of kin with them.

What you will bring | Nga tohungatanga mo tenei turanga

Excellent communication and administration skills with clients and project team.
Enjoy responsibility, is self-motivated, and can self-manage in a multi-tasking environment.
High level of attention to detail and data entry.
Must have a clean and current New Zealand Driver's Licence and reliable method of transport.
Experience in the healthcare industry is an advantage.
