The McNeill Driving Cadetship Program Phase One: Industry Overview (6-12 months) Learn the fundamentals of the transport industry (log books, driver conduct, licenses) Assist our team with yard and labouring duties Participate in ride-alongs with experienced drivers Opportunity to complete an Industry-Specific Certificate in Commercial Road Transport Begin working toward obtaining your licenses at your own pace Phase Two: Customization (6 months) Tailored training and development plan based on your interests Placement in your preferred division (log cartage, bulk transport, etc.) Ongoing skills development with hands-on experience Continue obtaining additional licenses and qualifications Launch your career with full support from our team Our Cadetship is designed to develop enthusiastic individuals as drivers of the future. To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a current, clean Class 2 driver's license, be fit for employment, have a consistent employment history with recent, verifiable references, and a positive attitude towards health and safety and other people. We would consider re-shaping this opportunity for a Class 4 driver. All offers of employment are contingent on the satisfactory results of a pre-employment drug test and medical.
