5 Star Investment Limited, trading as ACE Karaoke Bar, is seeking a Marketing professional to join our team, who will primarily support our overall marketing efforts. The individual will also serve as the Day-to-Day Manager, responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operations of our bar. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified candidate with strong marketing expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.
What we offer:
A Full-time permanent role - 30 minimum guaranteed work hour per week
The rate of pay or salary: $29.96 to $32 per hour
Key Task & Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, and organize marketing and promotional strategies, including advertising on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, WeChat, and Xiaohongshu (Chinese social media).
Plan and organize marketing events and collaborate with other internal teams to ensure their smooth execution.
Manage social media marketing campaigns and ensure consistent online engagement.
Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify and develop market opportunities for planning and organizing events and promotions that align with business goals.
Develop and create marketing materials, such as sales and product collateral, and ensure business and brand image are met
Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums
Work with external agencies and vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns
Oversee and manage the day-to-day service operations of our bar, ensuring that all functions are delivered to our clients effectively
Facilitate communication between internal staff and external clients to enhance customer satisfaction
Allocate duties to employees and manage staff training
Requirements and skills:
Bachelor degree or higher in Marketing, Advertising, Business or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in the hospitality or food and beverage (F&B) industry, with prior experience in a New Zealand workplace preferred.
Thorough understanding of marketing elements (especial for including traditional and digital marketing such as Social media etc.) and market research methods
Proven experience in event planning and social media advertising
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage day-to-day operations effectively.
Experience in creating marketing campaigns and executing them to drive customer engagement
Exceptional communication and writing skills in both English and Chinese, as our advertising will target both Chinese social media platforms and mainstream English social media.
Proficiency in bilingual communication, such as Mandarin or Cantonese, is a significant advantage given our diverse customer base, particularly our primary focus on Chinese clients. We will certainly consider all candidates.
