FUJIFILM Business Innovation New Zealand (FBNZ) is transforming in response to changing customer needs and an evolving market. As part of this transformation, we are making a number of changes in our marketing team. This newly-created role is part of these exciting changes and is a fantastic opportunity for a senior, experienced marketer to play a key leadership role in shaping the future of our marketing function and helping our business grow.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role will lead our Business Solutions marketing team (one direct report) which is responsible for developing, implementing and executing the strategic marketing plan and all marketing campaigns for FBNZ's Business Solutions portfolio in order to generate high quality leads, enhance brand awareness, and drive business growth. Business Solutions includes Process Automation, CodeBlue (IT solutions and management), and Office Display Solutions (screens and interactive displays). The role requires a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. The role is a key member of the Marketing Leadership Team as well as the acquisition and retention function within marketing.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and implement a comprehensive and integrated marketing strategy aligned to Business Solutions's business goals and objectives, leveraging knowledge of personas, market segments, target industries, etc. Collaborate with sales leaders and their teams to ensure alignment on goals and messaging. Identify market opportunities and marketing tactics to capture market share. Oversee the creation and execution of both online and offline brand building and demand generation campaigns (including industry-aligned campaigns) across multiple channels including digital, social media, email, and events. Implement effective lead nurturing strategies to move prospects through the sales funnel. Analyse and report on campaign performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations for optimisation. Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to refine marketing strategies. Develop an annual plan (broken down into quarters) for co-marketing campaigns that leverage vendor and technology supplier partnerships, ensuring campaigns align with both Business Solutions' goals and vendor goals. Develop and manage the Business Solutions marketing budget and ensure optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI. Skills & experience We are looking for someone with a 'client-first' mindset who is naturally collaborative, resilient, results-oriented and innately curious, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and a creative mindset. Along with this, you will also have:
Tertiary qualification in marketing. Minimum of seven years' experience as a marketing manager in a B2B environment. Previous experience in the technology industry and/or business consultancy services. Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and demand generation campaigns. Proven experience developing and delivering vendor-funded marketing campaigns. Able to build a deep understanding of target audiences and what engages and motivates them. Proficiency with HubSpot Marketing Suite. Excellent analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making. Experience in people management, mentoring, coaching and leadership. Well-developed business acumen and comfortable building effective working relationships with people at all levels of an organisation. Outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized with good time and project management skills, outstanding attention to detail, and a proven ability to consistently deliver to deadlines and budgets.
