As the Marketing Manager, you will be at the helm of our marketing efforts, guiding the team, managing budgets, and spearheading the development of key initiatives that drive our brand forward. Your leadership will be central to orchestrating our core marketing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and perfectly aligned with our brand vision. This role is all about collaboration. You'll partner closely with departments across the leadership team and work hand-in-hand with our Founder, Rachel Sloane, who also serves as our Head of Brand. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Culture Coach and develop team members to achieve high performance. Foster a positive workplace culture by embodying Naveya & Sloane's values, standards, and behaviors. Set clear goals, regularly review performance, recognize achievements, and address underperformance. Maintain effective communication with the leadership team. Hold weekly catch-ups to guide team and individual development. Planning & Execution Manage the marketing budget to align with business goals. Keep the annual marketing calendar up-to-date and aligned with business strategies. Conduct root cause analysis for any challenges within the marketing department. Collaborate with internal departments to gather feedback on marketing initiatives. Stay informed on marketing performance metrics and data. Lead core marketing initiatives, including NPD launches, tactical projects, campaigns, and social media strategy implementation. Relationship Management Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly to the General Manager. Provide clear direction to the marketing team to achieve department goals. Encourage creative thinking and uphold Naveya & Sloane values within the team. Serve as the primary contact for external partners, such as creative and PR agencies. Ensure all external collaborations align with Naveya & Sloane values and have Senior Leadership Team approval. Oversee Ambassador and Partnership strategies with the Head of Brand. Engage the right parties for strategic initiatives, such as event planning and PR. Creativity Drive a marketing team centred on creativity, storytelling, and excellence. Develop a network of external talent for various projects. Effectively communicate concepts and ideas to internal stakeholders. You aren't afraid to push your ideas forward and stand for what you believe. Data & Reporting Handle day-to-day reporting for the Marketing Department that enables you to make data driven decisions. Monitor key metrics, analyse strengths and weaknesses, and implement continuous improvements. Present solutions supported by robust data and root cause analysis. Stay informed on current market trends. Analyse market information to enhance business strategies at a quarterly and annual frequency. What We're Looking For: Marketing Experience: You have 2-3 years of experience in marketing, ideally with a New Zealand brand. Team Leadership: You are developing skills at managing and growing a team, fostering both individual and collective success. Creative Instinct: You possess a natural creative flair that drives innovative thinking and solutions. Hands-On Approach: You're a proactive doer, ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into every aspect of the role. Storytelling Ability: You're a natural storyteller, capable of conveying ideas and messages clearly and effectively both internally and externally. Founder Collaboration: You've worked closely with Founders before and appreciate the unique insights they bring to the business. Luxury Brand Experience: You have experience working with premium or luxury brands and understand the nuances of this market.
