We're on the lookout for a talented in-house Graphic Designer to join CARTERS Marketing team at our National Support Office in East Tamaki. Think you're a bit of a wiz with the Adobe tools and have a keen eye for delivering slick designs with a can-do attitude? You might just be the person we've been looking for.

We're looking for a talented graphic designer with the ability to take a brief, come up with creative concepts and ideas, turning them into on-brand graphics that are executed with finesse. You'll be able to nail making tricky information look simple!
With our bi-monthly promotional campaigns and brand design needs, plus some fancy designs for event collateral, signage and digital projects there's lots of variety each day.
You'll be up to date with design software and social media trends, be full of creative ideas and move at pace to make them happen. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of branding, and be able to find the right style and layout for every project.
About the role
Using your graphic design and digital expertise, you'll work alongside the Trade Marketing Engagement Manager to support our marketing activities by:
Producing graphics: From concept to completion using Adobe, create innovative design solutions that suit all aspects across our brand marketing, promotions, events and social media campaigns and more.
Being the guardian of our brand: Ensuring graphics produced enhance our brand, creatively delivering against briefs, taking direction to ensure all design work is aligned with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity.
Producing engaging designs: For our visual communications to enhance the customer experience by using colour, text, font style, imagery and layout effectively.
Contributing and coordinating: With the wider marketing team on new initiatives and projects as they arise.
Providing creative solutions: Recommendations and best practice design by being a problem solver. Stay up to date on industry trends and design best practices to bring innovative ideas to the table.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Brand communications
Campaign Point of sale
Digital & social media assets
Stationery and print material
Event collateral
Sales Presentations
Branch Signage & brand guidelines
About you
Ready to become an active member of our marketing team, participate and contribute your creative solutions & ideas? As a design guru, you'll succeed in this role because you have the following skills, experience and values:
High degree of expertise using Adobe Creative Cloud applications: Including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premier software.
Attention to detail and accurate file preparation: With previous graphics experience, ideally with a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or relevant qualification.
Skilled in digital systems: Can pick up various digital platforms, such as Helium, to design for websites, POS, social media, events and email campaigns.
An eye for emerging design trends: With a passion for providing creative solutions.
A self-motivated team player: Who has a high level of creativity, problem-solving skills and is able to multi-task and prioritise effectively.
