Our client is a well known retailer, who are infamous for their sales of books and stationery.
They are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join their team on a 3 month contract, with potential to extend to 6 months.
This role provides planning and implementation support at a functional level to the Group Marketing Manager and the Merchandising Team and supports all marketing activities.
This includes end-to-end management and implementation of marketing campaigns and encompasses campaign briefing, creative development, website presence, and the deployment of eDMs to the database.
This role contributes positively towards strategic business objectives, brand positioning, and digital development of the organisation.
The right person for this role will have a tertiary / post-graduate qualification in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related fields with a minimum 3-4 years of marketing/advertising or communications experience, ideally in the retail sector.
You will have excellent project management skills and ability to work cross-departmentally with the ability to manage projects and campaigns autonomously.
Experience implementing, managing, and reporting on social media platforms, along with experience utilising Campaign Monitor or similar to create and schedule eDM is a must, with a sound understanding of online and social media platforms, with ideas to grow and optimize engagement and community growth.
You will be passionate about customer engagement and being the voice of the brand on various public communication channels and have the knowledge, personality, and communication skills to rapidly gain credibility, influence internal and external parties, and hit the ground running in this contract role.
This is an Immediate start contract with the potential to extend the right candidate.
