Manager Property Strategy and Asset Management – Permanent - Flexible locationAre you an experienced property asset manager looking for a challenge? Experienced in developing and implementing asset management strategies & plans?Salary range: $151,774-$168,638 actual salary dependent on skills and experience.Bring your knowledge in making a real difference to the Fire and Emergency operational staff and the community!Working within the Property Directorate, the Manager Property Strategy and Asset Management is key to ensuring our fire stations, training facilities, depots and other property assets are fit for purpose in protecting and enabling front line firefighters to support our communities.Reporting to the National Manager Property, you'll be responsible for ensuring our property portfolio operates within an asset management framework, comprising maintaining and implementing our asset management plan, developing tactical strategies, policies, systems, and tools to manage our property assets wisely and safely.You will work closely with Region Property Managers and other key stakeholders to develop, maintain, plan, and implement various programmes of work including reporting on a 10-year rolling master programme for the Property portfolio.Ko tau na i tenei turanga - what you'll bring to the role.You will have strong people management and leadership capabilities to lead a small team in developing a centre of technical excellence. You will be able to demonstrate your extensive experience leading asset management planning, budgeting, and reporting along with management of health and safety risks including asbestos, seismic and water regulations. You will have proven ability in developing implementation plans and prioritising asset activities and budgets, and the opportunity to do so across a national portfolio.
