The Operations Manager will be accountable for the leadership, culture, safety, and compliance of the cold stores.Essential Qualifications and Experience:5 years plus experience leading an operational site - logistics / Cold Storage is advantageousExperience leading an operational teamExperience with developing and implementing financial budgets, targets, and reportingExperience with managing customer relationships and resolution of issuesExperience in working within regulatory frameworksStrong understanding of profit and loss and balance sheetsProven history of cost control and improvementPreferred Qualifications and Experience:Qualifications in Logistics Management or a relevant business discipline, or equivalent relevant experienceStrong understanding and implementation of safety procedures, product safety, quality, and legality issuesStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong customer service, problem-solving, and influencing skillsStrong time management and organisational skillsUnderstanding and leadership of LEAN initiatives across multiple operations.
