Travvia is in New Zealand and Australia, and we are looking for a Maintenance Repair Technician to work with our Brands JUCY and Star RV at our Auckland Airport Branch. You will be conducting domestic maintenance and repairs to cars, campervans, and motorhomes and providing operational support throughout the branch to ensure vehicles are presented to a high standard and in a roadworthy condition (Training Provided). From stripping wrecks to providing quality checks, this is a very hands-on role, ensuring that our fleet of JUCY campers, cars, and motorhomes are in perfect working order for the adventure.
What you'll be doing? Carrying out domestic repairs and maintenance to cars, campers, and motorhomes.Conducting pre-hire vehicle basic safety inspections and quality checks to ensure vehicles are presented to a high standard and in a roadworthy condition (training provided).Stripping wrecks.Working in environments with high volumes of customers, being friendly, welcoming, and helpful towards customers.We are looking for someone who has: Experience with domestic repairs and maintenance on motorhomes & campervans.Good general mechanical knowledge.Experience using a variety of tools.Impeccable attention to detail and pride in your work.A proactive person and a natural problem solver.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dynamic workplace and remain calm under pressure.A full New Zealand driver's licence.Availability to work weekends and public holidays.Rental car, campervan, and motorhome experience preferred (but not essential).A desire for a hands-on role in the Tourism or Rental Vehicle Industry.Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety.Applicants must have an applicable working visa or the right to work in New Zealand.At Travvia we offer: Opportunity to take your career further in the Tourism industry.Amazing company culture, working in a fun team environment with people from all over the world.Great perks, such as 5 days of free campervan/car hire in Australia and New Zealand.We can't promise that this job will be easy, but we can promise support and the opportunity to work in a fun and vibrant environment, as part of a passionate and motivated team!
