Role responsibilities:
Drives the global maintenance excellence programme for the site Delivery site KPIs, including uptime, cost, inventory and other leading indicators Ownership of spare part inventory levels, spare part cost, supplier selection Provides technical support and coaches the maintenance team Site ownership of both obsolescence and Asset Life Extension programs, with input in site 5 year CAPEX plans Collaborate with internal HR teams to develop a succession pipeline for key maintenance roles Support global best practices via internal auditing programs Assist in developing maintenance Sustainable Cost Advantage initiatives and monitor execution at plant level Support the research, scope and implementation of advanced condition-based monitoring strategies Promote a culture of: - high service level; respectful & can-do attitude The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in the following:
Proven track record in a similar role within a food manufacturing environment; Strong Leadership & People Management – Leads by example as a positive role model; Understanding of Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement tools; In depth knowledge of food manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety regulations, with a passion for promotion of safety and quality best practices; Budget management Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or similar
