This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an organisation that truly does make a difference!About the roleThe Wellington Logistics Team Leader role is responsible for leading a small Logistics team of six based at our site in Newton, Wellington. Reporting to the National Supply Chain Manager, there are two key remits that fall under this role:The management of the local dispatch operations out of our Wellington base, leading daily operational activity in relation to the transportation and distribution of blood products - ensuring the right products are available at the right place, at the right time. This includes managing the movement of stock, overseeing delivery schedules, and building strong relationships with customers.The management of the inwards goods warehouse function, responsible for quality control inspection of inbound goods, stock control processes, and effective stores management of fast-moving consumables used in all departments.Both remits will require outstanding communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
