Fresh Meats NZ is a boutique Napier based Lamb processor operating year-round manufacturing of products destined for both domestic and export markets.

Fresh Meats NZ is part of the Integrated Foods Group who are a food processing and agribusiness with large scale farming in Gisborne.

Fresh Meats NZ has an alternate day processing schedule, primary processing (Slaughter) one day and secondary processing (Boning) the next, every day is different and allows you to get experience in both areas of the process.

Fresh Meats NZ is a busy environment and requires people that can work in a fast paced environment, are reliable & motivated, physically fit and healthy, have a positive and hardworking attitude and can work within the team.

Position: Livestock Yards Team Leader We are looking for a Livestock Yards Team Leader, someone who has a passion for livestock logistics and livestock preparation.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications: Strong organisational skills and an effective planner. A good leader and communicator. Technically proficient with livestock administration. Knowledge and experience with animal health and welfare, food safety, and health and safety regulations. A normal working week would be Monday - Wednesday in the yards and Thursday - Friday assisting in the Coldstore/Secondary operations. Sunday work is required, but would be the responsibility of the Team Leader to roster.
