Live Chat Manager - Work From Home

Job Description:

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a dedicated and confident Live Chat Manager to join our team in Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, NZ. This is a part-time position at the Associate Level, requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. As a Live Chat Manager, you will be responsible for managing our live chat platform, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the live chat platform, ensuring all customer inquiries are addressed promptly and accurately
- Train and mentor live chat agents to provide excellent customer service and resolve issues effectively
- Monitor chat conversations to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to address customer concerns and provide solutions
- Analyze chat data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude in all interactions with customers and team members
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in live chat management

Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in a customer service or live chat management role
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet
- Excellent people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proficiency in live chat platforms and customer service software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- A positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to meet customer needs
