They are now looking to bring on a Senior Associate to their Litigation team.
About the opportunity This position offers you the chance to engage with and take the lead on various intricate disputes. Your leadership skills will be valued as you will take a lead role in mentoring the junior team members. You will be working closely with a respected Partner and other senior team members, all of whom are highly experienced litigators that foster the firm's collaborative and supportive team environment. You will also get a good understanding of your colleagues across other teams as the firm makes a conscious effort to work collaboratively amongst teams. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within one of the best local Waikato law firms, while also gaining the opportunity to step into a clear progression pathway.
On a daily basis you will get to work across a variety of interesting and challenging work including complex disputes, insolvency, construction, resource management, contracts and agreements, along with equine and farming. You'll get exposure working with a diverse range of clients, collaborating with business owners, major corporations, trusts, and individuals.
About you Minimum of 6 years PQE. However, ideally, 8 years PQE working within a reputable firm. A natural born leader with impressive experience resolving complex disputes. Great communication and business development skills. Strong technical skillset and the motivation to continue to improve your practice. Ability to form key client relationships. The ability to work well within a wider team environment, particularly with training junior team members.
