Checketts Mackay Law are looking for a Junior Legal Assistant to join our team here in Sunny Alexandra
The main purpose of the role is to complete general administration tasks as part of our Legal Support Team including:
AML and CDD compliance tasks
Checking and assisting support staff and fee earners with compliance and reporting in relation to, WIP reports, AR, stale matters and annual reporting
Checking ADLS , LINZ and other disbursement reports and ensuring charges are loaded
Invoicing on instruction from support staff/fee earners
Performing other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, deeds filing, file closure
Client maintenance in LEAP
Back up Reception cover
Assisting Legal Support Staff with general administration tasks
Skill Set:
Willingness to learn
Personable
Functional level of IT knowledge including Excel & Word
Initiative
This role would suit a school leaver or similar.
You will have the option to advance in this position including support to study to be a Legal Executive.
