Position Overview Join Massey University's School of Built Environment in Auckland and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Quantity Surveying. We're looking for an innovative educator and researcher who is ready to inspire the next generation of leaders in the construction industry.

Lead Research Innovation: Spearhead impactful research projects, publish in prestigious journals, and collaborate with industry to tackle real-world challenges. Foster Experiential Learning : Develop co-curricular activities that bridge classroom knowledge with practical application, enhancing student engagement and skill development. What You Bring: A degree in Quantity Surveying and a relevant Doctoral degree in Quantity Surveying. Current professional qualifications in/or working towards professional qualification in one or more Quantity Surveying professional institutes (e.g., RICS, NZIQS, ICES, AIQS). Strong record of scholarly publications undertaking research including research supervision of students. Experience of involvement in successfully securing competitive external academic research or industry R&D funding up to successful completion. A commitment to nurturing diverse talents and promoting an inclusive learning environment. Industry experience relevant to Quantity Surveying or at least a good degree of exposure in Quantity Surveying and involvement in industry-based training is desirable. Located on our Auckland campus, this full-time (37.5 p/w) appointment will be commensurate with skills and experience within the Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer range ($81,172 - $143,948).
