This role will contribute to the development and delivery of courses focusing on usable security, user-centred cyber security, cyber security in the context of AI and ML, cryptography, data sovereignty, hardware-based trustworthy computing, digital forensics, software and hardware security, and security in emerging applications.Your contributions will include world-class research, publishing in leading journals and conferences, securing research grant funding, high-calibre teaching, and supervision of capstone projects and dissertations at the Master and PhD level.Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:A PhD in Cyber Security or a closely related areaExperience as a Postdoc/Research FellowStrong track record of research as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications in high-reputable conferences and journals in Cyber SecurityDemonstrated research and grant funding successEvidence of curricula design and teaching at undergraduate/postgraduate levelsDemonstrable potential to build sustainable relationships with industry partnersRelevant teaching qualification and/or related tertiary teaching experienceEstablished network of collaboratorsCapable of successfully teaching Cyber Security coursesIndustrial experience and/or collaborative research with industrial partners is advantageousThis is a permanent, full-time 1 FTE (40 hours per week) role. Remuneration: L1-L7, $94,981 to $113,463.The School of Computer Science employs over 75 academic staff and has a growing cohort of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
