Learning Support Assistant

Our vision at Whangarei Girls' High School is to empower and uplift the young women of Whangarei and their families.You will be supporting students with specific learning needs, both in classrooms, one on one and in small groups. Relevant experience would be an advantage.Candidates will have excellent communication skills, enjoy working co-operatively, and building positive effective relationships with students and staff. They must be able to relate well with teenage girls and be able to work in a bicultural environment, with initiative and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.This is a Permanent position starting in the 2025 year.Hours of work are 8.30 to 3.15pm, Monday to Friday during term time only.Starting date 28 January 2025.A Police Vet is mandatory.Please provide name and contact details for 3 x referees along with a brief resume of your work history.Please email applications to ****** by 21 November 2024.
