We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development Business Partner to join the Higgins Team on a parental leave cover, 12-month fixed term contract.Reporting to the L&D Manager, you will partner with our regional leadership and EHSQ teams to identify, analyse and evaluate effective and efficient L&D solutions that improve Higgins business performance, compliance requirements, employee capability, and talent management.This is a true partner role that requires you to build strong relationships with stakeholders, understand their business, its learning and development needs and implement solutions which enable the business.Come join the Green Team:Based at our office in Penrose with a modern café and free on-site parkingFlexible working environmentJoin the People and Performance Team at Higgins (a part of the Fletcher Construction Company Ltd.)Work alongside an experienced leader with a wealth of industry knowledgeCareer development – opportunities to grow your career at Higgins and the wider Fletcher Building group of businessesCompetitive salary & access to Fletchers Building Benefits Programme, including a significant portfolio of retail benefits across major NZ businesses such as ANZ, Z energy, PlaceMakers, Mico and Samsung.What you will bring to the role:Four to six years' experience in a similar L&D roleRelevant experience within Roading or Construction industry or large and complex organization will be advantageousExperience with recognised Learning and Management Systems and/or Competency Management Systems. Knowledge with Pegasus and/or Cornerstone is desirable.Proven track records of development and implementing L&D solutions in line with business needsKnowledge of compliance training for large organisationsExcellent interpersonal skills including strategic and operational partnering, influencing and excellent verbal and writing communication skillsExperienced in project management skills and ability to get things delivered in collaboration with key stakeholdersHiggins is a leading roading and civil infrastructure company in New Zealand.
