Company benefits: Company car and Temporary to Permanent OpportunityDescriptionWe are on the lookout for a Painting Leading Hand.This role will be responsible for leading and assigning work to a crew of painters and overseeing project crews in the painting of interior and exterior surfaces of buildings/structures.Additional responsibilities include:Select, mix, tint, and blend paint to match existing colours for remodelling and repair workRoll, brush, or spray paint onto exterior or interior surfaces of buildings and structures, as requiredSupervise workers, subcontractors, and work activitiesRefinish furniture/equipment, as requiredRepair or prepare surfaces for painting, as requiredOrder necessary paint supplies, including tools required for the job and/or paint shopBe responsible for maintaining the inventory of supplies in conjunction with the auditing systemPerform related duties, as assignedRequirements:New Zealand qualification and completion of apprenticeship in Painting and Decorating4-5 years of experience in painting projectsSupervisory skills and experienceAbility to use painting tools and associated equipmentAbility to mix and match paint to samples and existing coloursSufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform the duties and responsibilities of this job, including heavy workAbility to plan and develop work and equipment schedulesValid NZ class 1 full driver's licenseFor more information, feel free to contact Alvin at 021689437.
