About the opportunity | Te whiwhinga mahi Initial 2 year fixed term contract. Reporting into the Engineering Practice Lead, you will be responsible for building custom Salesforce applications that allow Fonterra to grow its Salesforce capability to adopt modern development practices, standards and tools.
With upcoming projects focused on developing applications that strengthen Fonterra's relationships with its farmer communities, this position offers significant visibility and opportunities to elevate your profile within the organisation. You'll have the potential to lead Salesforce development teams, serve as an internal advisor on Salesforce solutions, and expand your skills in architecture, positioning yourself as a key contributor to our success.
Additionally, your role will include conducting peer reviews, supporting the testing and deployment of Sales Cloud applications, and integrating Salesforce with other systems or services.
About you | Ko wai koe You are a highly skilled software engineer with over 4 years of Salesforce development experience, including at least 2 years of Front End development. You're experienced in Salesforce Sales Cloud, with a solid understanding of its standard functionality including Salesforce Data Model. You are confident across Apex, Apex Triggers, Flow, SOQL, SOSL, and are proficient in building APIs and integrating systems and processes.
Additionally, you are competent in Visual Force and Lightning Web Components and have a strong grasp of Salesforce role hierarchies, sharing rules, and field-level security. As a collaborative team player, you bring a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving, consistently delivering high-quality solutions that drive business outcomes.
