**Lead Lifeguard Leading our team of lifeguards.**He angitutanga: The opportunityOur pool and leisure facilities are more popular than ever, and as Lead Lifeguard, for our Stanmore Bay Pool and Leisure Centre you will play a key part in ensuring that all customers not only have a fantastic experience but a safe one.Your main responsibilities will include: Providing guidance on and supporting the delivery of aquaticsbased programmes. General lifeguarding duties to ensure customers are safe and looked after; and Supporting the Team Leader with daytoday operations at the Centre._We currently have 2x 20hour position_Shifts for lead 1:(please note these may change you will be contracted to 20 hours and not specific shift days)Sunday 8am-16:00pmMonday Flexible admin day-4hrsTuesday 12:45-21:15pmShifts for lead 2:(please note these may change you will be contracted to 20 hours and not specific shift days)Thursday 12:45-21:15pmFriday Flexible adm n day-4hrsSaturday 8am-16:00pmHe korero mou: About youEssentially you need to be a strong swimmer and have experience in leading a team.To carry out your duties you'll need to hold a current First Aid Certificate as well as a Pool Lifeguard Practising Certificate - however - all training will be provided.It goes without saying that you'll have a passion for aquatics, and you'll enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience with customers and colleagues to improve water safety.You will be an excellent communicator and committed to delivering exceptional aquatic programmes and providing a high level of customer satisfaction.Joining an energetic and passionate team, you'll be a keen team player with a flexible approach and be able to take the initiative to help drive a positive safety culture.As the centre operates 7 days a week, reliability, and commitment to working early, late and weekend shifts are crucial.Nga ahuatanga kei a matou: What we offerYou'll have access to a range of fantastic Auckland Council benefits, including a range of partnership discounts.
