Someone who can bring their leadership, baking skills and energy to join our growing and expanding bakery production team.What's the role?On a day to day basis you will:Take ownership of the day to day operations of our bakery to ensure production goals are achieved.Show proven leadership and have the ability and willingness to pass on knowledge to other team members.Work with our operations management to grow our teams capability.Be hands on guiding team members, training, overseeing quality, improving processes and systems.Understand baking fundamentals and workings to solve issues and provide solutions.Have strong knowledge of bakery and packaging workings and equipment.Be a great communicator who enjoys leading and working with a team.Build a strong and happy work culture where your team members want to perform every day.Have direct input into maintaining and improving all processes and systems.Have a creative flair when it comes to assisting with product development.What do I need to have?Consistent in character and work ethic.Passionate about your role and work with purpose.The ability to build rapport and gain respect from team members.Excellent English, both interpreting and comprehending.Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.Able to follow and add value to systems and processes.Have a background in baking in a production environment.Have a minimum of 5 years previous food handling and bakery experience.Ownership of this roleOrganisational skills go without saying.Strong team management and leadership skills.Maintain a high level of quality at all times.Understand and follow food safety procedures.Be professional, reliable, committed, and trustworthy.Have the ability to work to deadlines and have a great eye for detail.Hours of Work:Monday – Friday (and occasionally Saturdays during peak seasons).Full time.Day shifts (early morning 5am start).What can Molly Woppy offer me?We can offer you a unique role that will get you out of bed in the mornings.
