Landscape Gardener

Landscape Gardener Key tasks and responsibilities:
Evaluating the area where the fence will be installed, considering factors such as soil type, terrain, and existing vegetation. Repairing and removing existing fencing, building new fencesPlanning and constructing garden landscapes and fencing. Laying out fence lines, lifting and positioning, marking positions for post holes.Clearing the area of debris, vegetation, or obstacles that may hinder fence installation. This may involve digging up roots or leveling the ground.Collaborating with clients to determine the type of fence that best suits their needs and aesthetic preferences. Planting trees, bushes, hedges, flowers and bulbs.Preparing lawn areas by applying topsoil, sowing grass seeds, and installing instant turfTrimming trees and hedges, and setting up plant support and protection systems.Caring for planted and grassed areas by weeding, pruning, fertilising, watering, and mowing. Job location or region: Auckland
Employment type: Permanent full time
Days required: Monday - Saturday (9:00am to 5:30pm)
Hours each week: Minimum of 30 hours per week, to be completed within the days as outlined above.
Hourly rate or salary band: $30 - $40 per hour depending on experience.
Job requirements:
At least three years' work experience in similar roles, can consist of part time experience.No qualification is required.Must have a valid New Zealand driver's license.Must have the appropriate visa to work in New Zealand.Must be able to pass drug tests.
