Laboratory Technician

Apollo Laboratory Limited is an established Food and bee product research and testing laboratory based in Hamilton near the Hamilton Airport. The Laboratory is equipped with high tech analytical equipment and we are seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to join us in this exciting time to be part of the company's growth and work with an existing scientific team.
The laboratory will service a range of food products including bee product analysis and ongoing company research and product development.
We are seeking a candidate who has the following experience:
Perform routine tasks in daily operation of Microbiology and Analytical chemistry analysis.
Practical knowledge and experience in microbiology and handling techniques (Aseptic conditions).
Practical knowledge and experience in handling of UHPLC and LCMS.
Experience and knowledge of ISO 17025.
The ideal candidate will have:

Ability to take initiative and work in a fair and responsible way.
Reliability and flexibility with good time management skills.
Integrity in all actions.
Willingness to work on continuous improvement initiatives with a 'can-do attitude'.
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in a scientific discipline (Microbiology / Chemistry) and at least 3 years of experience.
