This is your opportunity to work in Watercare's Programme Delivery team!
We take environmental impacts very seriously, and this role will help the environmental team to reduce the impact of Watercare Infrastructure projects on the environment. This will include:
Maintaining regulatory and contractual compliance in the areas of environmental management and third-party agreements.Providing an interface between site and environmental departments - this will involve liaising with site engineers and the environmental team to assist with on-site compliance activities and documentation.Supporting project delivery and ongoing initiatives.Liaising with Watercare's partners and stakeholders to deliver on community initiatives.To be successful in this role, you will enjoy building relationships and have an exceptional work ethic. You have the ability to work on your own and within a team and have great communication skills.
Your skills and background will include:
A tertiary qualification in science, resource management, statutory planning, or equivalent.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.Previous experience working within the environmental field is desirable but not essential.This is your opportunity to work on some of New Zealand's largest wastewater construction projects, including the Central Interceptor Project, as well as be part of an international team of tunnelling experts.
