Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team. Rhoda Read is a Continuing Care Facility at Morrinsville in the Waikato Region. As part of the Older Persons and Rehabilitation Service, Rhoda Read cares mostly for post-acute patients who have been inpatients at Waikato or Thames hospital and need time to recover prior to discharge home. Rhoda Read has a rehabilitative focus and cares for palliative patients at the end of their lives. Key responsibilities of the role: • Serving patient meals on the tray line • Washing dishes using a commercial dishwasher • Delivering meals to patients • Making beverages for patients • Rhoda Read cooks meals for the community via 'Meals on Wheels' Click here to view the position description. Previous work experience related to the position would be an advantage. Preference will be given to those who have achieved related NZQA unit standards.
