Key Support Worker Team Leader

Enliven Intensive Home Support, a service of Presbyterian Support East Coast, provides support services for older people so they can live and enjoy life as a valued part of our community. We are looking for a permanent part-time Key Support Worker, Team Leader who is passionate about working with people and making a positive difference. You will work across all our teams which include Napier, Taradale, Hastings, and Havelock North. As Key Support Worker Team Leader, you will provide supervision, support, and mentoring to Key Support Workers, assist with after-hours coordination of staff rosters, and service delivery. You will also co-ordinate Career-force and other training for Key Support Workers. Your role will include: Honouring the Treaty of Waitangi obligations. Manage staff and co-ordinate training and development. Assist with after-hour support and continuity of service delivery. High level of accuracy in documentation and reporting. Participate and comply with Health and Safety legislation, and all associated PSEC policies and procedures. Working collaboratively as part of the Enliven Older People team. What you will need: Leadership skills. The ability to build and maintain a great rapport with consumers and colleagues. Maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Excellent communication, problem solving, supervision, and time management skills. Minimum of Level 4 Health and Wellbeing certification. Relevant evidence of skills and knowledge in understanding rostering systems, goal setting, and consumer experience. To work flexibly on a roster basis to meet the needs of the service.
