The Kaiwhakahaere Matauranga | Education Manager is responsible for the promotion, sales, delivery and evaluation of Red Leap's Education Programme. The work involves relationship-building across all aspects of the Education Programme. There are administrative, marketing, producing and advocacy aspects to the position. Red Leap Theatre Red Leap is a devising theatre company, dedicated to innovating theatrical form through the intersection of dynamic physicality, arresting imagery, and inventive original storytelling. The Role This is a pivotal role, supporting the delivery of Red Leap's vision, engagement and creative output. As part of a small team you will contribute to shaping and delivering Red Leap's strategy and programme to realise Red Leap's mission. The role requires energy, initiative and a diversity of skills to organise, promote and facilitate events and community building initiatives. The Kaiwhakahaere Matauranga | Education Manager works closely with the Executive Producer and Artistic Director, as well as a wide range of contractors, stakeholders and suppliers. The role includes detailed administration, a high level of communications skills, building partnerships with diverse communities, market development, and producing events and programmes. The Offer The Kaiwhakahaere Matauranga | Education Manager will be a part-time contract position for 48 weeks from February 2024. The position is for 22.5 hours per week. Employment: Contract position for 48 weeks. Two weeks paid holiday included. Person Specification Collaborative and motivated, with a good understanding of the arts and education landscape in Aotearoa. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple programme components at once. Commitment to the kaupapa of Red Leap - you'll have an understanding of collaborative working processes.
