Collaboration with our Kairuruku (National Programme Manager)and other key stakeholders is key to ensuring curriculum goals are met. Abilityto travel across the takiwa is required.This position oversees programme management and delivery of newprogrammes introduced to the takiwa. Some of the responsibilities include: teachingand delivery, monitoring kaiako and kaimahi performance, supporting the tauirarecruitment process, establishing and maintaining enduring relationshipsensuring accurate academic processes and procedures.About youAs a Kaiwhakahaere Ako, you will be proficient in leadership and managementskills. You will bring with you a Bachelors Degree in Education, Management orCommerce and a Certificate in Adult Tertiary Teaching (Level 5). Assessment andmoderation standards (4098, 11281, 18203) or a New Zealand Certificate inAssessment Practice is preferred. Proficiency in Te Reo and Tikanga Maori isdesirable.You will be an exceptional leader with at least 5 years' experience in atertiary education environment, and 5+ years' proven experience deliveringquality education and teaching experience.As akaupapa Maori organisation, your willingness to participate in culturalactivities and develop an understanding of Ahuatanga Maori (values, culture andtikanga) is desirable.Apply today!Have we outlined arole that matches your capabilities and aspirations, and a workplace thatappeals?
