Wellington Te Puni Kokiri The Ministry of Maori DevelopmentTe whai wahitanga The opportunityPart of a small, agile and dynamic team, the Senior Advisor works closely with the Principal Advisor and other Senior Advisors across the motu to build and uplift Maori Capability for Te Puni Kokiri.This position reports to the Kaiarahi, Te Raukaha Hunga Mahi - Manager, Workforce Capability and is based in Poneke, Wellington.They facilitate, lead and champion the delivery of initiatives set out in the Te Puni Kokiri Maori Capability programme - Te Mapurapura for all kaimahi.Working with nga puni, they identify and resolve gaps in capability and assess and manage business risks that might arise out of their day-to-day mahi.Part of the role involves analysing trends and reporting.The Senior Advisor, Maori Capability has significant understanding of Te Reo Maori me ona tikanga and has experience using this knowledge to assist in the design and delivery of Maori capability initiatives. We are looking for:Experience operating at a senior advisor level can articulate skills as outlined in the position description.Excellent standard of written and verbal communication. Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly.
