Kaitohu Matua, Ahunga Umanga | Senior Advisor, Organisational Performance Strategy | Te Puni Rautaki Te Puni Kokiri | Ministry of Maori DevelopmentLocation: Te Tari Matua, Poneke | National Office, WellingtonWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Advisor to join our Organisational Performance Team looking to gain meaningful experience in public sector accountability and reporting!Te Puni Kokiri is the government's principal policy advisor on Maori wellbeing and development.
We achieve strategic influence with a focus on providing high quality policy advice and holding other agencies to account for delivering public services to, for, and with Maori.
This includes our mandate to promote Maori achievement in education, training, health and economic resource development along with performing our monitoring and mentoring roles.Te whai wahitanga | The opportunityAn internal facing position, the Senior Advisor, Organisational Performance plays and important role of providing leadership to internal stakeholders on Te Puni Kokiri's accountability and reporting requirements.
The role reports to the manager of the Organisational Performance Team and is based in National office in Wellington.
You will:Managing the process, preparation, collation and finalisation of the Ministry's external reporting, including quarterly reporting and the annual report to ParliamentAssisting with the development of the Estimates of Appropriations and output class information Ensuring that accountability (including legislative and Treasury) timelines are adhered toProviding backup on the oversight of the Estimates and any financial reviews, including co-ordinating the Te Puni Kokiri responses to written questions to the Finance and Expenditure Committee, and the Maori Affairs Select Committee The appointment range for this role is between $104k - $115k per annum and the salary will be determined based on the successful candidate's skills and experience.Mou | About youTrustworthy and reliable, you take pride in building strong, lasting relationships with other kaimahi and are agile in how you approach and manage your workload.
Exceptional relationship management skills.
