Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment)
Are you a HR Advisor or HR Project Lead looking for your next opportunity? My client, based in Wellington City currently has an opening for an experienced HR Advisor/ HR Project Lead on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. Preferably you will start this side of 2024; however, for the right candidate, we would be open to a 2025 start date. This company is a short walk from the train station and has a collaborative friendly team environment.
What you will be doing
Review current Health and Safety Procedures and recommend updates where necessary
Develop and implement a Diversity and Inclusion Framework
Complete a review of their Business Continuity Plan
Provide advice on legislation, policies and leadership development
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
To be successful in this assignment you should have the following experience:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a HR Generalist role, with at least 2 years at a senior level
Comprehensive knowledge of the New Zealand Health and Safety at Work Act and the ability to develop safety frameworks
Prior experience in developing diversity and inclusion frameworks
Strong project management skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated attention to detail
Strong relationship building skills across a varied range of stakeholders
A bit about you
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related Field
Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
Proven experience of strong stakeholder relationships
A strategic thinker with the ability to develop practical solutions
Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
NZ Citizen, Resident or Permanent Resident
