About this role

As our Kairuruku Arataki (Programme Management), you will provide effective leadership and guidance to ensure the curriculum and graduate outcomes are designed accordingly, maintained, and achieved.

Kairuruku Arataki (Programme Management)
Permanent full-time position
Location: Glenview - Hamilton
37.5 hours per week
8:30am – 5pm

As a Kairuruku (Programme Manager) – Matauranga Maori, you will:

Provide specialist subject knowledge, academic management and support to kaiako and relevant kaimahi.

Monitor compliance of programme guidelines, academic and non-academic policies and standards.

Procure resources to enable the programme to operate efficiently.

Implement recommendations from NZQA Monitor reports.

Provide leadership within TWoA that is kaupapa centred, Nga Uara focused, futuristic, transformational, and inspirational.

About you:

We are looking for someone who has the following:

Master's Degree in a field related to the programme(s) of responsibility - relevant PhD or working towards one desirable.

Fluent in Te Reo.

Experience managing staff.

5+ years' curriculum management experience in a tertiary education environment.

Extensive experience understanding, interpreting and explaining complex processes and regulations.

Full clean New Zealand Driver's Licence.

As a kaupapa Maori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Ahuatanga Maori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
